Unhappy Tablet Stuck in "plugged AC"

My tablet is doing something strange. When is disconnected (no dock and no AC cable) still says that is plugged in to the AC. If a go to "about tablet" and check the graph with the battery info the bars says that is charging, but nothing is connected to the tablet. I checked with various programs and all of them says that the AC cable is plugged in. The battery discharge normally, the temperature is normal, all the functions of the tablet are normal, but I don't know why the tablet says that the cable is connected when is not. Any help please?

I would do a simple reset by pressing a pin in the reset hole beneath the micro SD card slot to clear out whatever false reading it is stuck on.

Bad Advice since this is the TF 101 and not the Prime!

    Sorry for the confusion!

I have my tablet (TF101) since October. When it happened I was't charging the tablet. I restarted (turn off, turn on) when I see it was stuck. I try to clear batterrystat.bin but remain stuck. I did a super clean (formated all the partitions) and reinstalled the OS and nothing, remain stuck in plugged in. I am trying to discharge the tablet to see if it works.

(BTW, I have root access, CWM and resolver rom installed, I try to use another rom and is the same thing, so I think is a hardware problem because I formatted everything and remain stuck)

Sorry I was mistaken since you have the TF 101 you do not have the reset hole. I was confused and thought you had the Prime!

The problem persist. I left the tablet sleeping because I think the problem was over. I now want to use it and the problem continues. I don't know what to do. I think I have to live with this problem.

Backup your data and pic and media and do a Factory Reset now that you've taken the bad app off. The Factory Reset should clean up any traces of it that may be causing your issue.

I Format everything, not a single thing left. Reinstall OS, check the info about the battery and still stuck. Apparently the app was't the problem. Oh well, I have to live with this.
