Usb connectivity with cables instead of dock

Now I know there is no USB plug in the device. I was wondering if it was possible to use the proprietary connector plugged into a USB masculine to feminine converter cable and then plug in your device. It would be a little messy but is it possible? Mines arriving on Wednesday so I don't know yet.

Im sure asus will have an adapter. You probably can't just use any female to male adapter, it might need to be a specific product.

Can't just use a gender changer, as the Transformer isn't a USB host. You'll need the official gadget (see Accessories section) or a keyboard dock.
