Save vpn passwords?

I am interested in having a saved vpn connection remember the password rather than entering it each time I connect. I've been using an app named 5VPN, but it works with only one vpn and uses the clipboard to transfer the password to the text box in the login prompt. The 5 refers to the 5 taps required when using 5vpn. Right now I only have one vpn defined so the little app is ok, although annoying.

Is there any other way to save a vpn password?

I know that the built in VPN client in the settings does not save passwords. Maybe there is another app out there that will, but I am not aware of one.
