I think the .18 and .19 were not published due to the hole made for RazorClaw. That is just my $0.02.

    (1) On on a cold boot, if the user switches to the "wipe" option is there a "cancel" after selecting it, or does it go straight to the wipe?

    (2) The link to Asus downloads is much appreciated -- but I didn't spot the latest firmware. Did I miss it, or is it not up yet?

    Thanks again!

I have experience with #1. Once selected it goes right to wipe. I did it by accident and had no back-up. I was not a happy camper!

I didn't have a cancel option in May. Wish I knew about turning it off back then!

OK, I nominate someone from the Rescue Squad to give it a try on the .21!

I would love to try it to prove that there is a cancel button, but I am runing a non-stock ROM.

I know that in late June/early July when I was on 3.1 there was a cancel button after you select Wipe. Last time I tried it back in November when I was running stock it still had a delay with a cancel option. If I recall it is actually a "Press Volume Up to confirm Wipe" but do not quote me on that.

Ah, then I guess we wait until one of us needs the option. You know I've come close which is why I brought it up! But for now the keyboard/dock issue is more sporadic (except I may have found another post-update owner with the same issue).

    Welcome to the party

I would first suggest a hard reset, (link in my sig) then go to settings - about- check for updates, and if that doesn't allow the update, make certain you have extracted the first file you downloaded and that it is in the root of the SD card before restarting again. Follow in the order suggested.

How is your card formatted? If it is NTFS, the recovery manager that reads the card cannot see it. The card needs to be formatted for FAT32 for the recovery manager to read it.
