Ouch, that's not good! Doing some poking around on other forums a factory reset may be your only ticket out of this. Maybe someone else has a better suggestion, hope you get it resolved.

I'd like to find a solution rather than having to do a factory reset. It's a pain having to reinstall all the apps, and synchronise files again. What a bummer.

HI, I have a similar problem ....... the transformer boots up and the goes directly to the keyboard and "enter your password screen" .. additional to this is that my keyboard is unresponsive ..... nothing even when I press the power off i cannot choose to shutdown or cancel ... completely unresponsive .... any help yet ??????? I ordered online and am thousands of miles from any factory support .....

Isnt it your google account password? Otherwise you probably have to consult asus. Btw 1 month ago when I bought sony mp3 player. For some reason it had a demo mode on. I spent 2 days trying to fix it. I needed a key combination (like up up down down etc) to unlock it. But noone from the shop knew it. Furthermore after sitting on the phone for 1 hour talking with a sony support Ive been told that that kind of information is available only to official dealers. So I had to change my player. Ahh if I think about it Ive never bought anyhting cool without having tonns of problems with it later

If not your Google password, maybe try "admin" without the quotes? That works for some software.

    Lightbulb

Okay, I browsed the web for hours and didn't find better than wiping user datas.
    I mean :
    1) Shutdown the TF and take off any SD cards
    2) Longly press POWER+VOLUME DOWN buttons
A small text should appear at the top left corner of the screen, don't try anything : just wait five seconds.
    3) As button "Wipe Data" appears, press VOLUME UP to wipe every personnal data.
Great, you just fixed your TF ! \o/
WARNING : This will erase all your apps, photos, settings ... It's a factory reset. You'll not be able to get back any of your personal datas.

I think there is no solution but this one.
