I am sitting at home in Germany with my new TF300T. I was in the US for Christmas when i received the tablet for Christmas and had no problems connecting to my parents' network. Now that I am back in Berlin, I cannot connect my tablet. I am sitting next to my router and have entered all of the relevant info. However, selecting Wifi tells me that my network is not in range. I am apprx. 2 feet away from the router. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks, Steve Andrews

The European router is probably on a channel outside of the range of the us setup on the tab. Look online for WiFi channel frequency and set the router to a channel that matches the range of the tablet.

Thanks for the prompt reply. If I change the frequeny will this have an impact on the other wireless machines in the house?

They should find the new frequency upon reboot with no problem.

A US Transformer should be able to acess channels 1 thru 11.

Hi
New to this site but used it to get ideas on failing wifi. After jb update wifi wouldn't connect (tf700t). My solution: my router WPA setting was set to Mixed(WPA+WPA2). I changed it to WPA2 Only and now rock solid wifi!! So far anyway. I'll leave it to those more technically minded to explain why.
Good luck

My phone is just beside my router but it has a cord. Will that be fine?
