    My Apps Connectivity Issues

Recently I tried downloading a kids app for my daughter, when I noticed the download bar at the bottom of the home screen was stuck. When I clicked on it the My Apps portion of the market keeps hitting me with a network error (though I do have wifi connectivity). Now, I cannot find a way to clear the download and can no longer download any apps, because as soon as I try it goes to the My Apps screen and the network error pops up.

Has anyone run into this issue? So far I've stopped the My Apps process, the market cache and data has been cleared and I have restarted twice.

Update: Got the download cleared, but my problem may go deeper as both my YouTube widget and gmail application are showing network issues.

You have probably modified your proxy settings by trying out PdaNet, at a guess.

You need to reset the proxy IP address and port to be blank.

That is correct, I've since done a factory reset to fix it. Got blindsided by that one!

To do a factory reset, you can go under settings -> Privacy and it should be under there. It will erase anything on your internal storage (i.e. movies, pics etc) so if you can be sure to back that stuff up first.

You should install an app called AnyCut from the market. This allows you to create a home screens shortcut to lots of hidden and not-so-hidden things, including the proxy settings. No need to do a factory reset.

Moose, It looks like you have it nailed on the head however I am unable to access the Market and hence I cannot download AnyCut... I had gmail setup and saw the PDAnet "caution" as I changed my proxy but I assumed (incorrectly) that the "clear network proxy" button would work, tapping it only takes me to the settings page and I cannot
locate any proxy to clear. Now that it won't clear gmail is locked out and hence so is my Market access. Any assistance you can lend would be appreciated, I saw your .apk offer on another thread so will send an email if you are still available to help.

This is the answer!! I had to sideload AnyCut though since I couldn't through the Market on the TF - Downloaded it to my desktop then transfered it to the TF via AsusSync - Install Application

Thanks Moose!! Everything is up and running since I could clear the proxy settings via the AnyCut shortcut!!!
