in the settings menu, under the 'screen' tab, there is a checkbox for screenshots

after you've ticked that, just hold down the 'recent apps' button down below [it's next to the 'back' and 'home' buttons on the opposite side of the clock] and it'll save a screenshot in a folder called 'screenshots'

Yep, simple. And it must be a feature Asus added, as my Acer iconia doesn't have that feature.

Yeah, you can use some screen recorder to help you capture your screen. It can record whatever activities you made on your screen, including move the cursor, launch a program, type text, click button, select menus etc. So I often use it to help me record pc screen video when I was playing on computer. And it help you save the video to standard WMV video format file, so you can transfer it to your portable gadget or upload to video sharing websites.

It's easy to use this extension to capture visible content of a tab, a region of a web page, or the whole page as a PNG image

Which model tablet do you have, because the tf101 doesn't have jelly bean. However, on my Samsung tablet with JB, its the lock/unlock and volume down buttons at the same time for a screen shot.

Please tell us the name of such a screen recorder. All the ones I've seen on the Google play store don't work unless your tablet is rooted.
