    Browse local NAS

I have a Synology NAS with numerous files. With DLNA on, I can browse Music/Photo/Video files over the LAN using MyNet.

How can I browse the NAS folder structure without using DLNA to access non-media files?

If you have access to the NAS via the PC, and can setup shares on the extra folders you want to browse, you should be able to use something like ES File Explorer to navigate to the LAN tab and into the NAS

I haven't tried this first hand, but I would assume it would work like any other shares on your network, so long as you set up the correct permissions on the folders

Thanks, that worked like a charm. I actually tried ES File Manager yesterday, but missed displaying the tabs.

I'm now on day two with the brown (doorbuster) version of a TF101. It was successfully one-click rooted and is running like a champ.

Another great NAS browsing app to test out is File Manager HD. It has nice bookmark/shortcuts for getting one touch access to your different network shares. Also supports network streaming like ES File Explorer.
