    MicroSD card in transformer

    I connected the data cable to the computer, it can't show the microSD card as a driver. Any problem for this?

    This is a Honeycomb issue. The easiest way to access files on your external SD card is using File Manager HD (Honeycomb) or another file managing app. As far as transferring files to the card just put them on your internal memory when plugged in to your PC and then transfer them using the file managing app. Just put them in a folder that you will remember or create a new folder labeled transfer or something. You will be looking for the mnt folder in the file managing app. Internal memory will be labeled sdcard and the SD card will be external_sd.

    The microSD card appears as a folder at the top level when you connect the Transformer to a PC. See the screenshot below. You can simply drag files from folders on your PC and drop them in folders on the microSD without going through intermediate steps.

    Slightly bizarrely, the microSD folder below "Removable" (which is where you find it on the TF itself) appears to be empty when you browse to it on a PC.

    Well I stand corrected. Apparently Asus corrected this issue. I hadn't put an SD card into mine yet. Just did and there it is.

    Thanks for the info moose.

    For my understanding,

    The "SDcard" fold is the Transformer's internal memory, is this a SDcard or HDD or SSN?

    the removable->microSD is inserted microSD

    It's memory which appears to the OS to be an SDcard. HDD? I don't understand why you think there's a hard disc in the TF.

    Yes, Removable/microSD is the microSD card. The Removable folder is also where the SD card in the dock and any other removable storage like USB memory sticks appear.
