Many thanks

Not the transformer, but you can with the keyboard dock.

Rumor has it 3.1 will make it so that most USB devices will be recognizable when using the USB end (via female to female adapter) of the charger.

I thought it was recognizing them already. People have been using mice already and hard drives.

It seems to be a hit or miss so far. Some devices work for some, while the same devices won't for others. 3.1 is supposed to change that so that most devices will work regardless. Hopefully it's true.

Yes you could as long as you have the dock or when the adapter comes out you can use that.

Hi Micky do you know how as I've tried this and cant get any power on 3.0.1 and leaked 3.1 (yeah couldn't wait) I've got 2 female to female tried both and nothing, I suppose I could try a powered hub but I would have to recognise the hub.
Any Ideas and I'll give it a shot.
Thanks Gav

When Asus releases the adapter it will be wired differently. The wiring pins are different for reading USB. Only if you knew what the wiring code was.

Something like this. 24 port male connector on 1 side, and card or usb reader on the other end.
