    Unhappy SD Card Problem

    Hello
I am trying to look at pictures I have on my SD card from my camera but when I put the card in the transformer doesn't recognise a card at all. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Unless the images are in 'Raw' format, the TF should be able to see them.
However the SD card inserted into the SD slot on the Keyboard Dock gets mounted as '/Removable/SD' directory - if it is a MicroSD card you have inserted into the tablet itself then it gets mounted as '/Removable/MicroSD'

You may have to use the file manager on the tablet to go to these directories yourself to see the files on SD or MicroSD cards.

If still nothing is showing up then your SD (or MicroSD) card may be incorrectly formatted - unlikely IMHO.

I have an issue with accessing either of the usb ports or SD card since last update; cards and sticks aren't found and don't display in file manager. What works for me, albeit a hassle, is to insert card or sick in keyboard and then reboot; the external storage then shows up as before. Unfortunate that Asus is breaking things everytime they fix another issue. The actual pad recognizes the microSD but the keyboard ports don't function properly. Try inserting your card and then rebooting Transformer, you should then be able to access your SD card and get your pictures.

I find the SD card slot very fiddly as a means of transferring images. It sometimes doeasnt make a proper contact and I am always worried about damage. I prefer to use a cheap USB adaptor which seems to work better.

+1 for trying a reboot after inserting the card.

My TF is currently back with Asus as it didn't recognise either USB port or an SD card. Seems to be a problem shared by quite a few people. I tried re-booting, etc, but it didn't work.
