The Official Asus 3.1 Honeycomb Release
Sorry if you thought there was some news here......
If you are either offered the release as a notification or see it available from the Asus site or FTP page, let us be the first to know.
I'm subscribing to this thead so I will know when to start looking out for the update.

Dont you have to root your tablet to make this work? I would rather wait for the official update from Asus

You have to be registered in the forum to access the download link. When I click on register it takes me to a dead page.

Just go to main page (Android Central | Android Forums, News, and Help) and hit join our community. Should work. Also, this IS the official Asus 3.1

you do not need root. I put instructions i this thread: Asus Eee Pad Transformer to get Honeycomb 3.1 early next week post #13
post #14 has the link without needing to register.
I have updated mine using the intructions I posted and it worked great!Sent from my Transformer!
