Exchange/EAS Users!
Hey everyone,
Does anyone that connects to exchange via EAS using the built in mail client, receive emails on a push basis even though you've set it to check every 10 or 15 minutes? I have my EVO 4G check every 15 minutes and only syncs 3 days worth. Everything works fine. On the Asus, I receive emails instantly (as if it's in push mode) for both my Exchange and Hotmail (POP) accounts. Also...even though I tell it to sync only 3 days worth on the TF, it keeps EVERYTHING in my android mail client view going way past my 3-day limit.
What gives? I've done the cold reset, I've wiped my accounts, I've deleted the data, etc...still no go. Asus wanted me to factory reset my unit, but it's a pain in the a$$ getting all my apps installed again. I find it hard to believe that the EVO's 2.3.3 mail client works more accurately than the Honeycomb mail client...but then again with this bogus Maps/Wireless/Browser Agent issues...who knows?!?!?

I found the built-in mail client woefully inadequate for Exchange use (mainly due to lack of server side search). I switched to TouchDown and have been happy ever since.

I can't get to my exchange email via the stock but touchdown works. BUT do you know of any exchange mail apps that can access the company directory? Cheers

I use touchdown too and happy with it. (Touchdown for Tablet)

Exchange mail TF
Hi I'm aware touchdown works properly, however I'd like to know if there is an adeguate E-mail client working with Exchange server.
right now the in bulit mail client doesn't show all the folders and is poor of features.

I use the bult in mail client to connect to an exchange server. I've set the mail for 3 days when I'm at home, but I like to keep a months worth when traveling. So when I set it to 30 days before I leave, it shows me 30 days. When I set it back to 3 when I return, it goes back to 3. I haven't messed with check mail timings and just prefer it be pushed.
Could it be your exchange server isn't configured to respond appropriately with the mail client?

the main issue as mentioned there are not all the folders on the left mask.
