My wallpaper changes randomly. Help.

It just started a few hours ago that my wallpaper would change to totally random photos that I don't even recall seeing or downloading to my TF. Even if I set it to a specific wallpaper, Ill press my home button not more thn a few minutes later and see it different again! I don't recall having installed anything, save for some app updates and the new firmware update. Anyone know what's going on here?

I have seen this as well. I believe it to be an OS bug.

It would be a feature if these were wallpapers of my choosing. It is showing me photos I've never even seen before, mostly of space. It's thoroughly annoying. Ayone have an idea of how I can fix this?

I had the same problem but have not seen it since updating to the new firmware. Have you done the update

Do you have multipicture wallpaper app installed? It has a feature that does what you does what you are describing. I'm not a fan off the app but if your problem is not corrected by the firmware update you should consider downloading it to control your desktop.

Jeff, yes I updated the firmware. I had no problems previously with my TF, but now I have this wallpaper annoyance and it also seems that my battery has been draining faster. Given the timing of things, is it possible that the update screwed something up in my unit? Turning off wi-fi, I noticed, makes it leave my desktop alone. Makes sense since I have not seen or downloaded the photos shown. I uninstalled my 3rd party photobrowsing/searching apps, still no luck.

Some members report that the Maps update has caused this problem. Try going to Settings>Apps>Maps and tap uninstall updates. Restart your TF and see if this fixes it.

Isn't It a bit unusual that bugs only affect some users but not others who are on the same version of the OS? one would expext to see more instances of the bug among the user population, right?

I can have 1 different setting that can cause a problem.
