Firmware Upgrade and Google Maps Upgrade did not cure Wi-Fi woes
While the firmware upgrade added some nice features and a speedier stock browser, there are still issues with the looping Wi-Fi connecting/disconnecting problem.
After I installed the firmware upgrade, I went ahead and upgraded to Google Map's latest dated 27 September. After the Transformer was in sleep mode long enough to shut of wireless I tried to wake the tablet. The Wi-Fi problem was present. Uninstalling the Google Map's updates again returned the Transformer to good behavior. There apparently is still an issue with Google Map's and Wi-Fi stability on the Transformer.

Hi
I also had that issue, but i tried as first option to clear Google Maps Data, and the problem seemed to dissapear. After some days the 3.2.1 update and the Maps update became available. Did the updates, and still havn't seen the issue yet. So here i believe it was clearing the Google Maps data the was the cure.

Transformer Forums Legend
The most recent Google Maps update is not causing the WiFi issue on my system. I had uninstalled the previous update some time ago so maybe the problem is lingering from the previous update that caused the problem in the first place. Clearing the data sounds like a good potential solution.

I had this problem...but I first uninstalled the GoogleMaps update which cleared it...then downloaded the system update and the GoogleMapa updates. Still no problem.Maybe the sequence of removing the old maps update then installing the android update, then installing maps again...

My wireless is now always unable to connect to the internet if it's been idle for more than a few hours. I've uninstalled Maps completely (but it really doesn't get uninstalled...i think it's built in), only to find that surprise, Maps is now updated again!
This thing is a real pain in the backside...now with my browser showing mobile versions of webpages, this tablet is useless for all except reading e-books. I don't like having to switch Google's page to desktop, then do a search for my favorite sites, then click on the google link to get there. I don't like having to turn airplane mode on and off every time I want to use browse the internet. This last update stunk.
