    Installation of aps?

I bought my transformer a couple days ago or so, but when I try to download apps from the app market, they won't download...even though on the android market it says the app is downoading. I just tested this with the dictionary.com app while I was taking notes in Polaris. The class was over an hour and when I checked the status of the download, it was the same as when I first started. I've tried downloading other free apps as well, but none of them download/install

    Possible problem? Solution?

You may be behind a firewall that won't allow it.

Hello and welcome to the Forum. Some apps are country specific and are blocked from downloading. Where are you located? If an app says downloading but you do not see it on the TF try this.

While the TF is on, hold the power button until the screens shuts off. The TF will restart automatically. Let me know if the apps you downloaded are there now.

sometimes my downloads get stuck. Close market, then reopen and go to my apps, try to download and install again. Or go to the app and try again. Connect to public wifi and see if that makes a difference.

I think the clue was that the OP seems to have been in class while trying to download. Most schools have pretty tight policies on downloading, but I could be wrong........

Hi, guys. Thanks for the responses. I'll try to address everything I've seen so far:

*I've tried restarting my transformer, but that never worked
*I've tried cloing the market and opening it, stopping and restarting the download...no dice.

The thing is I have downloaded these (and other apps) without fail on my android phone on the same cnnection (excellent) I'm using now. The only apps that are currently installed on my transformer are the ones that are already included with it. In fact, Google maps had an update (which I decided to try and see if it would clear)...but not even that would download/install.

Hi, this happens now and again.

Press the back button to go away from that page and then retry the install.

    It should be OK then.

A friend of mine suggested to do that as well (go back and try again), but after...three or four times now, I think? It's getting a bit questionable. I'll keep trying that, though!
