I broke my TF, so considering options

Knocked it off a side table in Moscow, system is working (at least alarm clock) but the screen isn't powered, zilch video.

I'm going to take it to a local shop that does Asus and see if they'll look inside and attempt video reconnect for < $200, but assuming that I've just plain broken the damn thing, I'm looking at my options:

    1. Shell out the cash to replace it. I already own the dock and memory cards and power brick.

    2. Vodafone.nl is offering a free Galaxy Tab 10.1 with a 2-year data plan subscription. They're my current carrier in Europe.

    3. Wait until TF-2 for Kal-El and cross my fingers it will be compatible with existing dock.

    Opinions?

From all I have read the TF2 will be out next month. BUT.. will you be able to get one?
If it were me.. I would wait.

If the case is not damaged, I would send it to Asus repair. They may fix or replace it free.
