Is it okay if I jump onto this thread? My tablet holds its power very well, I use it almost always docked to the keyboard. But I have noticed that the keyboard drains of power quicker than I would have expected. I have the auto airplane widget but I wonder whether I have a faulty keyboard. When I woke it up this morning it was warm and the battery level in the keyboard (according to my dual battery widget) had dropped overnight.

I tried the switch-off, then try-and-restart-by-striking-any-key-test and the screen did not wake up, so according to information posted on this forum my keyboard is not one of the faulty ones - is that right?

    Any thoughts please?

    Many thanks,
    Miss G.

What I've seen written by others is that because the keyboard is also charging the tablet, it's going through battery twice as fast.

I know with mine, quite frequently my keyboard lasts 5-6 hours, and then the tablet goes about 12.

Asus recommends that you go through some fully charged to depleted cycles. I think in this case depleted means around 5-7 percent. Check your owner's manual.
