TF initial charging time?

Hey everyone, got my TF today finally. Been charging since 12pm pacific, was gonna take it off at 8 as instructions say to do but I'm getting antsy cuz I have to go to work 45 mintues after that, so I would like some extra play time with it and take it off after 7 hours charging but I don't want to negatively affect the battery life. How say you?

Well manufacturers have a suggested charge time to give your battery the best start at life possible. Then again, I can't say that I've followed those guides on everything I've owned. But I have with this thing since I love it. Haha. Choice is yours

I never had the patience to wait for new gadgets to fully charge, and tbh I doubt it matters if you charge it 2 or 10 hours the first time, else there would be much more focus on the subject when you bought new electronic items.

Thou after the first few weeks, your battery life should increase after it has run some cycles.

Mine came with no charge at all. Is that normal?

Usually most things come with a little bit of charge so that's a little strange.

Mine arrived today with a 45% charge. After 2 hours it was up to 100%. I gave it an extra 30 mins and then started using it. Down to 17% now after 7 hours of consistent use but not much video use. I plan to go thru 3 full charge\discharge cycles.
