Micro sd card slot for 16gb model

does anyone know (regarding the 16 gb model) if you can expand storage with a 32gb sd card... or is the highest that you can go up to 16gb?
im assuming a 16 gb sd card will work.. but can you expand it even further with a 32gb sd card?

    thanks

I think you can use any sized microSD card in either model. The internal memory and the sd card sizes are separate and largely irrelevant.

Hello Maddyann, A 32G class 4 card works very well. Class 6 is faster but really isn't necessary.

Ditto. It may be possible to even get a 64 GB microSD card, but they are really expensive and may not work depending on how they are formatted. This may change with a future update.

ASUS only acknowledges up to 32 GB SD and microSD cards work in the TF and Dock.

I think I read somewhere on one of the XDA forums from someone taking apart their keyboard dock that the SD card slot was a class 2. I haven't seen anyone mention what class the microSD slot was on the TF. But I would not waste money on anything over a Class 4. Keep in mind of course that the classification of SD cards is based on minimum speeds. Some Class 4 cards can be faster than some Class 6 cards, so do your research.

Obviously faster cards work faster in card readers attached to a PC, which means it's quicker to load movies and stuff on that way. I found copying to the card inside the transformer via USB really slow, via a card reader is much faster.... still not real fast at 4MB/sec, but no great hurry for that.
