Thumbs up Opera Mobile constantly deleting my cookies?

Anyway to stop it from doing this? Is there a "dev mode" I can activate to force it to never delete cookies? Seems like a massive oversight

It's literally impossible to browse forums sometimes in opera mobile because every other page or every 5 minutes it'll log me out as the browser auto deletes all my cookies... with no options to view, save or delete them myself.

Any fix for this? It sucks having to always log in, especially since the browser is so dumb it's password saver only save passwords for the specific web page you are on, not for the whole website (so it'll only save the password to this forum on the main page, which it only auto-fills once it is fully loaded... terrible implementation).

The only reason I am using it is because every other browser is literally a massive pain in the ass to navigate or type on.

First go into your opera mobile settings and see how your cookies are handled. Maybe a simple change will fix it. To access the settings click on the upper left hand side O with the down arrow.

I had this issue and it was driving me nuts, every other page I had to login. The fix for me was to uninstall Opera Mobile, then reinstall and the problem was fixed.

Try the cookies settings Buzz recommended, if not, uninstall reinstall and see if that fixes ya up.

There are no cookies settings for me

Actually the only settings I do get are pretty basic stuff like text wrap or changing user agent string

EDIT: woh, under privacy. Didn't think that. I'll try clearing my cache and seeing if that works. Cookies are on though. No option to change how it handles it however.
