    Email & contacts

OK, I've got my yahoo mail going. Next question- When I compose an email how do I get a contact into it with out having to type it in. I save contacts by pausing over them on incoming mail, but where do they go and how can I get them when I need them?

You have to start typing the first couple of letters. It takes a while to get used to not having an address book.

When you save contacts, they should go to the Contacts App (in the app drawer). You can type a few letters as Mickey pointed out and it should start offering you options.
