Problem inserting microSD card - keeps popping back out

It takes me several attempts to insert a microSD card in the TF's slot. Most times it pops back out so that is is not quite all the way in. I can eventually get it to fully insert if I keep trying.

Do others find this to be true? I'm wondering whether my TF is defective in this regard, or whether that is the nature of the TF's slot and the tiny card.

Mine is tough too but I just use something like a credit card to push it in all the way. I find that its very hard to get it to click in with just my finger.

most users have noticed that you have to insert it beyond the bezel (using a fingernail) to get it to stay in. This is because the card should be flush with the bezel when inserted.

Heh, I have had this problem too so I'm glad to hear it's not my TF.

The very first time I put in my new Micro SD card, I was sitting on the sofa using the tablet and suddenly there was a "ping!" and the micro sd flew across the room. Spent some time putting it in much more carefully - and it hasn't done it since.

This is a time when you really need a good, strong, slightly long thumb nail...

Thanks everyone for the replies. It is good to know that it is not just my unit. My fingernails are real short, so I'll try a credit card for pushing the card fully into the slot.

In my case it was hard to put the first time... it didnt want to go all the way in.

I put a "little" more pressure on it and went it perfectly. Since then, i did take it out and in a couple of time without any single problem or extra pressure.

Looks like the first time it was a bit rough, thats all.

Edit>ok, just re read the whole thing and i was going to re edit it, but i think we are all adults

Yes the Micro SD card must be inserted all the way and a tad more till it clicks. I use a nail file to pop mine in. But remember when you want to remove it, do a safe removal first like you would on any computer when removing a removable disk or USB thumb drive. This can be found under settings.
