navigation map orientation

Sorry if this is already answered previously.
In nav mode, my maps do not scroll. I have to move them manually with the stylus when driving. Is there an auto scroll facility i have missed. Also, my direction of travel is across the screen. Eg, left to right.. ....
My htc wildfire maps auto scroll, and direction of travel is up the screen which is exactly what i want the tf to do. Can it be doneon the tf?

One last point, i keep my htc tethered while driving.

On the lower left corner of the screen there is an arrow. Tap the arrow and it should set it to your location and it should follow you perfectly.
