What do you use your cameras for?

Having had my TF for about a week now, one feature I think might be kinda wasted is the cameras.

The only thing I've used the cameras for is to check that they work.

So, please can you tell me what you use yours for? Does anyone use them for video calling/conferencing?
What about more unusual uses, like as a barcode scanner, or with some kind of image recognition.

I reckon there's so much that could be done, that I/we are missing out on, so let's hear about it...

Besides taking photos and videos, video calling is a very popular feature. Have you tried it?

Here in the UK, I don't think we have Google Talk or Google Video Chat. Can any of my countrymen confirm/deny this? What video chat systems/apps work will here in Blighty?

I tend to agree with the OP. I got the craziest looks when I picked up my iPad2 to take a picture of a student's project in a critique. The picture was worthless as well. If I was into video chatting I could maybe see the reason for the front one. As I'm not, I'd have rather seen a lower price for a Transformer without them.

UK user here. Yes, Google Talk with video available and works. Just need to install the video chat plug in. Other users you want to connect with on video must do the same, I think! I linked up with my son in London. I liked the way I could switch to the rear camera and show him scenes around the house and garden. I only wish that video was available with Skype for Android. Would be far more 'universal'.
