    System Update Available problem

Hi All, for the past month, when i check the System Updates screen in the settings, the Check update button is grayed out. and below it tthere is a message saying there is an update available for your device. please check notifications. But I have never seen any notifications about any updates.

Is this a known issue? Has anyone else seen it?

    Here are my System stats:
    Android 3.1 stock
    Kernel version: 2.6.36.3-00001-gf377a2b
    android@mercury #1
    Build #:
    HMJ37.us_epad-8.4.4.5-20110527

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Tap once by the clock and in the popup notifications if one of them is the system update. Tap this to start the update process.

    Also, welcome to the forum!

After updating I suggest in doing a Hard Reset.
    Hard Reset:
Unplug the power cord and shut the unit off and Press and Hold the power button and the Down volume button together for 6-10 seconds and let them both go. You should see a little shape in the middle of the screen so just press and release the Down volume button again and let it reboot. If you own the dock be sure and do this with the dock connected.

Welcome to the Forum eeeagle. Are you saying there is no clock in the bottom right hand side of your home screen?
First tap the settings button then about and check the version 3.1 or 3.2.
If you have 3.2 there is no update.
next shut down and restart. see if your home screen clock is there.. Let me know.
