How can I connect the transformer to my ubuntu laptop? Via USB, preferibly

I get the "synching" message, which doesn't lead anywhere because I dont have any asus synching software installed. I would like to access it as a mass storage device via the USB plug. Can I do this ?

I do believe the transformer will connect or sync automatically. When I connected to my dell desktop, the drivers installed and it automatically sync'd my contacts for g-mail and hotmail without a prompt ( not sure I like that) but anyway I had no problems transfering files either on to the transformer or back to my CP or HP laptop.

I use Teamviewer (teamviewer.com) to access my computers from other locations and vice versa. Plus I use it to connect to my clients computers. I have downloaded their Android App and been able to connect to my desktop from the Eee pad. They also offer a linux and a Mac version.
