    Power Supply

I've had my Asus TF101 for about 6 months and love it. I use it to watch movies, Netflix, youtube, Browse the web, email, etc.

I love the fact that you can just "drag" an mpeg file into a folder and play it.

I have a few of questions and/or issues:

What is the power needed for charging? I recently left my charger at work, and nothing else seems to charge it. Any suggestions, short of going to Staples and spending $40 on a replacement?
How do I find out the OS name and version.

    Welcome to the forum

The version of Android you are using will be found in settings, about tablet.
    3.x is Honeycomb
4.0.x is Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS)

The answer to your question on charging can be found here -

But essentially your TF charger outputs at 15v / 1.2a so any other form of charging that only uses 5v (USB standard) will charge it but only very slowly.

We try to keep "thread creep" to a minimum here as we have so many members & some questions get asked frequently. because of that I am going to point you to the thread I linked above and also the links in my signature & ask you please to see if there are existing threads that cover any question you have, prior to posting new threads.

Tis no big issue at all, but having answered your question & linked you up I'll close this now & thank you for understanding.
