Reloading emails
I have a Asus T101 transformer
Some time ago I was reading two emails from a club I belong to.
My problem is when I start the T101 up I see the two email loading in to memory every time.
I have tried switching it on with the net switched off, the two files are still uploaded.
I went through every folder I can find and I found a number of these files and I deleted them.
But the files still up load every time I switch on.
I again searched the hard drive for these files but I cannot find any.
Question is, is there “Hidden Files on the T101 if so how do I unhide them because that is the only thing I can think of, where the files could be.
Other wise there are no problems.
Any one any ideas

Welcome, blueflame.
The emails are probably being stored on the email server your linked to.
Check it and see.

Hi Mike thanks for getting back to me.
“The emails are probably being stored on the email server your linked to.”
I have checked the server and it empty.
But when the T101 is started up, the files still loads to memory even when the Wi-Fi is switched off
So they must be on the hard drive some where

What do you mean by the emails "being loaded into memory every time"?
What, exactly, do you see?

Hi Moose
Thanks for getting back to me
Bottom right hand side of screen, just as the desktop comes up it says
####### [ name if email] down load complete, then the next thing is Preparing External Storage

None of the email apps I know about report "download complete" when fetching email. And you keep mentioning "files" which also confuses me.
Which application are you using to read these emails? What is their content - did they have attachments?

Hi Moose
Thanks for getting back to me.
I do no use an email app.
I am on Virgin, when I go to get my Email on the T101, I use Google to go to their web site, then I read my emails, I delete what I don’t want to keep so I can down load them later with Outlook on my desk top at a later date.
When the Wi-Fi on the T101 is switched off, and the power to Router is switch off. When I start up the T101 it still says at the bottom right hand side of screen, just as the desktop comes up it says
####### [ name if email] down load complete, then the next thing is Preparing External Storage
Inside the email was only about 30 words about the next club meeting, the second email is from the same place the only difference is they got the time wrong in the first one.
I do not remember if I deleted the emails or left them on the web site.
