The Asus Transformer has actually done a remarkable job at being the number 1 android tablet. There have been no advertisements. (I sure haven't seen any on TV yet.) In the circulars it is never mentioned (except that one Sunday in the Best Buy ad) While I see and read round the clock ads for all the other Tablets. Maybe it's different in other countries but here in the States the TF gets little to no press. I can imagine if Asus would really start an advertising blitz here. So far it has just been word of mouth.

Here's a review done just this week by the Washington Post - comparing the ASUS Transformer and the iPad (by a regular apple user).

It includes a short video within the article as well...

It is good to see that the Transformer is doing so well! When I bought mine over a month ago I did not expect it to do so well, and but I'm glad to see it going full steam ahead and it can only be good news for us Transformer users as it means more and more accessories will start popping up!

This Tablet is the bomb! I have bought and returned every tablet that has come out in the last 9 months. I have had this one over a month and I am not considering sending it back. It is awesome.

I agree. I have not seen ads for it, but I found out about it through the 'net. I read articles on feedly, Gizmodo, etc. I was stuck between waiting for the Galaxy
10.1, Transformer, and Acer. Needless to say, I am quite pleased with my purchase...and you are right again as the dock does set it apart. I think I sold two for Asus when I showed it at work.

I know of this commercial here:

Although I never saw it on TV. Only on Youtube. ( However I live in New Zealand and we are behind tech wise. Only got eee pad's in about 2 weeks ago )

Maybe now Netflix can get off their greedy butts and make an app that works with the TF.
