How do I save a document to a jump drive?

I created a document in Polaris Office and saved it to a folder I created in File Manager. I now want to save the same file to a jump drive. I can see in File Manager an option for "removable device," which I'm guessing is the jump drive, but I can't figure out how to save to it. Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum

Long press the file in the file manager and select cut or copy then select the external memory, (jump drive, otherwise known as flash). long press and paste.

When I select the file, I don't even see the external memory as an option. What am I missing??? Thanks for your reply!

When you open the file manager, do you see the USB Disk (I am not sure how it shows up in the file manager as I have not had it on my TF in over 6 months).

Also, if you tap the notifications area (lower right hand corner) do you see a notification for a USB Drive?

Do you have an external drive plugged into the tab? Either a microSD card in the tab itself or a USB drive inserted into the USB port on the dock or even an SD card in the dock? If so then you should see an icon of some kind on the status bar. In the notifications there should also be an indication of which is inserted and a folder to tap to open. Something like an icon of a drive or SD card with External storage inserted.

You can also get the app called Google drive. It allows you to see your uploaded documents on any device that has internet. I mostly use it between both tablets but it's also great for printing.

Hi. How did you save the Polaris office document to the folder you created in File Manager?
