    auto update?

Here's another question from someone who just bought a new Transformer today: will Asus push 3.1 out automatically? The reason I ask is I'm wondering how long I haveto wait...

I doubt it but you have 3 options. 1) just go to settings - about tablet - system update - check for update and if that doesn't work you can try 2) manual update at the link provided below or 3) skip updating to 3.1 and just wait for 3.2 to come out hopefully later this month but not for sure on that

Here is the link for the manual update but you will need a micro SD card complete it.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition - Dell Venue 11 Pro Bay Trail (On Order) - LG Optimus G Pro

You can check to see if the download is available manually by going to settings>about tablet>system update.

I ve already done step one to no avail. Boy, they sure don't make updating easy. All that downloading and rooting from the microSd card is enough to make me want to return it in exchange for an iPad.

I don't think you will get the OTA Update unless you have registered your TF with Asus

You register at Asus.com but I can't guarantee that will get you an OTA update.

What I noticed with my new Transformers were the updates can be found or run until the battery has a signifigant charge .... ie more than 35% at least I think. Once you are charged beyond that or plugged in, the update will run.
