Android 3.1 update

Guess we'll see how good Asus is with updates pretty soon since 3.1 was just announced.

Prolly gonna be a while as this was just released for the Xoom. It does have some pretty cool new features though.

Well considering that it's pretty much stock and has about the same components it might not be as long a wait as you think. I guess we'll find out soon enough though.

Hopefully they can produce updates faster than they seem to be able to produce Transformers. Let us know when you get it and how the update process went.

The xoom will see updates early and often because its a Google experience device. I'm sure the Asus will see updates as soon as more are in the hands of consumers.

The 3g Xoom might but Moto said it's not coming to the wifi Xooms for a couple of weeks.

Hopefully we'll see our update by mid summer, hopefully by then Asus can figure out how to make the videos work properly without the hardware acceleration that should *crosses fingers* come with 3.1.

How about some ice cream sandwiches for the phone though

Actually it seems that wifi owners are getting the update as well.

The 3g Xoom might but Moto said it's not coming to the wifi Xooms for a couple of weeks.

We have seen two firmware updates since the inception of the device which sets a good pace for Asus thus far. I have also read good information from Asus techs directly that show they are working on releasing a new firmware revision VERY soon. In fact the developers have released a beta of this firmware which im currently running that solves allot of issues mostly related to the dock issues. And yes there is a seperate firmware for the dock itself.

Is there somewhere that I can download a firmware update for the dock?I have the dock and there are definately issues to be solved!
