A few questions regarding the Transformer

I'm planning on purchasing in a Transformer in the near future, and had a few questions.

1: Does Skype have a widget? I thought it would be pretty cool if it had one directly on the homescreen where I could simply leave my tablet unlocked and go from one thing to another, then go back to the homescreen and check my Skype messages.

2: I use PDANet to tether my laptop sometimes when I'm away from wifi with my HTC Incredible. I was wondering if I would be able to use this application to tether my Transformer. Or if not, what other tethering options do I have? (not requiring a root of any kind)

Thank you ahead of time for the comments. I've been working hard to get some money to pay for a Transformer, as I do not have a steady job and still in High School.

Yes, Skype does have a widget for Android.... as of now it does not support video.. but you can message with the current version.

As for tethering to your HTC.. this can be done but I am not sure if PDANET will work or not.. There are tethering apps that do work and available online

Just recently pdanet put out a beta for tablet as client and it does work. A little slow.

I have just paired my Incredible with my Transformer and it works great. You just have to watch for the pairing requests that pop up and accept them. I missed them the first 10 times. FYI there is a pdanet tablet version out now.
