Light leakage ?
Hello,
Dunno if this happen to anyone but my TF have some light leak. One at the bottom and one at the left side of the screen. They seem to only appear on pure black screen. Any ideas on what going on with the screen ? Would they expand across the screen ?
Thanks.

No they will not get bigger. If you don't like the leak then you will have to try and swap it for another and if that is no good then you may need to get it sent to Asus to service.

Don't worry, the ISP display is prone to some minor light leaks. iPad has the same issue. As long as it doesn't distract from the overall viewing experience it's something just to get used to when booting up.

Was your's minor light leaks or did they interfere when on the main viewing watching movies, web browsing, etc? If they were just the minor ones mentioned above, you may get the same results with your new one. But let us know if improved.

Luckily I don't have any light leak on mine, however I've seen some really bad ones. At this point in the life of your device I would send it off for service even if it isn't that bad, it's simply not worth having. Of course it's all a matter of personal opinion and if you can tolerate it more power to you. But I pay for as close to perfection as humanly possible and light leak, in my opinion, shouldn't be there.
Droid life started with a Droid(Froyo) - rooted

, Then came the Incredible(Gingerbread) - rooted

, but now the Transformer(Honeycomb) - rooted

.
(We don't like to talk about the Archos 70 in our house)

Is this leakage? (in the middle of the screen)
Can I reset the TF to get rid of it?
I have sent email to J&R and Asus to ask for replacement

Normally light leakage is around the edge of the display. That looks like a genuine fault with the display.

I just returned mine because the front facing camera wasn't working....well....this one works but the screen is bleeding light from the lower left corner. Usually it is not interfering but it is not supposed to be like that so back it goes. 3rd time a charm?
