Gmail crash after the latest upgrade

I got the latest firmware upgrade this morning. However, the Gmail keeps crashing again and again -- whenever I got a new email or replied an email.
    This is NEW.
I have two Gmail accounts and the widget displays the second one's inbox. Since Gmail is a default app I can't simply find a upgrade through Android market
Now I have to use my laptop browsing useless emails

    Welcome!

Have you rebooted (turn it off then on) since the update?

I am having the same problem with gmail after the update. I am able to open the gmail app but as soon as I click on anything in the app it freezes. I have rebooted, in fact my tab does that multiple times a day now on is own, I have also forced stopped and cleared all data/cache. Are we the only ones having this problem? Any other tricks to try besides a hard reset?

If the G-Mail app is the primary problem I have 2 things you should do. The first is to do a hard reset. no data lost if done correctly. Instructions are in a link below.

The 2nd thing would be to go to settings - apps -all --- tap on the Gmail app, tell it to clear cache, then force stop and restart your TF. If that doesn't work do it again but also clear data. You may need to set the app up again after clearing data.

It is not a solution but I use the power off key to solve this problem now.

Gmail was one of the apps that gave me problems after upgrade to ICS.
I followed Leeshor's advice at the time and did a factory reset.
That solved the Gmail and any other problems I was having
