If you cannot authenticate with your google account, there are really only 2 options:

    1 - Remember what your password/pattern was
2 - Factory Data Reset (which will erase all of the data on the tablet).

Turn off the transformer that you just stole. Turn on the transformer that you just stole by pressing the power button and volume down button. Once the transformer that you just stole displays some texts on the upper left hand corner, release the buttons. Then, the transformer that you just stole will display 2 options: wipe data and start linux. Press the volume down button on the transformer that you just stole to select the wipe data option and then volume up button to choose that option. Watch the data being wiped from the transformer that you just stole. Have fun with your new transformer.

    Edit.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. My friend and I were joking about all these tablets being sold on ebay with "forgotten password/lock pattern".

Since the OP has been a member since December that should be your clue that the Transformer in question is not hot!

You didn't do it right. Instead of wiping data, it rebooted the linux (android) system. Do it again. Make sure you move to choose wipe data.
