    Using External Speakers

I bought a TF in November last year. Since then I have downloaded and stocked up a music database using Winamp (as I do not want to use Apple or iTunes). However I am having real difficulty getting the TF to play through external speakers - I have bought a brand new Jabra and am using a sound 3.5 jack and still no luck. However using a 3.5 sound jack that has a standard ipod docking plug at the other end i can get sound through an external logitech set of speakers which are too heavy to carry around - any ideas on how to get the JAbra to link in

Ok, which Jabra? Any headphone setup should work. My Bose earbuds work fine, as do my Sony earbuds and my Klipsch headphones.

Are you making sure the plug is going in properly with the Jabra set? No reason they won't work, a 3.5mm jack is a 3.5mm jack.

Jabra is Type PHS001U - I have connected it with a 3.5/3.5 jack to the TF but I think the problem may be that the TF has only 1 USB port and I am using that for the external rive with my music database - using the USB on my desktop does not seem to allow for sound out of the Jabra

If you mean this device: Jabra SPEAK 410

It's not meant to be used in the way you're using it. The 3.5mm headphone jack is an output, not an input. It's a USB sound device, designed to be used with a PC and telephony software.
