    USB to USB file transfer

Hi I am looking at getting a transformer and i would like to know if i can use the transformer to transfer files from one USB port to the other USB port.
For example if i wanted to transfer files from a Camera to a External Hardrive, does the Transformer allow me to do that?

I've moved from one USB stick to another with no problems... The one near the back right is USBDISK1 and the one near the front left is USBDISK2 under Removable in the root directory.

I've transferred files through this a few times from one memory/harddrive to another.

Shouldn't be a problem if the TF sees both devices.

I transfer directly from an SD card in the dock to a USB drive all the time.

No problems, unless you undock whilst transferring....

Yep it sure does work... did it every day on a 6 week Holiday in Europe. Copy SD card to TF101 then copy to 1.5 TB hard drive then copy to 16 gb thumb drive.
Yes I did this every day because the gf was paranoid that my backpack would get stolen. The Thumb drive stayed in her handbag the hard drive in the suitcase and TF101 in the backpack.

Every port can copy/cut/paste to each other.

In the end nothing was lost or stolen so now we have 4 copies of every picture. All 5000 of them.

This is one of the reasons i love android. It pretty much gives you a great file system access and management. So the answer is yes you can. As long as the isb devices you connect can be seen by the tf.

But it will become somewhat of an issue with the Transformer Prime. Only one USB port for some reason.

Keep in mind you can use a USB hub on the one port and get more ports when needed. Not the best solution, but it will work.
