NVIDIA announces 7 inch Asus tablet quad 3

This just in from the ZOMG! department -- NVIDIA has announced that a 7-inch version of the Transformer Prime will be available, complete with the Tegra 3 processor and Ice Cream Sandwich (wait for it) for $249. We don't have the full details just yet, only what we've said above. But isn't that enough to get you excited? I'm ready to get in line tonight! Android central.

The only thing is if there will only be a couple of thousand made then the well dries up like in tranz prime. How does asus plan to take over a market from apple products and tablets when they can't produce any significant numbers. Thought they were a bigger company.
It's discouraging to say the least. Unless your a person who can check these sites every 2 hours it seems you'll never get a product from a company like asus. I know this ain't an apple forum but you can bet after the initial 30 days of ip3 you'll be able to buy one without such dedication to these sites.
Whether its a 7" or a 10" , you must make them and distribute them. Where are they? Oh, is there another 3000 units on the way?
Does anyone know how many primes have sold to date? Because they are nowhere to be found, when store get another small batch only people who live in front of a monitor checking forums will know. In 2 days it will be the same situation again all over. Asus would probablly kick it up a knotch if they could. Just don't expect to Be the commercial success that iPad is while dribbling your product out of the side of your advertising mouth. You need to spit them out asus. Only the hardcore tab heads got em after all ths time. Maybe apple can help you build some.
