    Found App for Speaker Volume

I was over at XDA forums and found a discussion about an app to boost and or equalize speaker volume since its so crappy on the TF. I downloaded from market and its a winner!! Paid app but as far as I'm concerned worth the money.

Best $1.62 I've spent all month. It has given me at least a 40% increase in volume but it has also made it very clear that my left speaker sucks! Oh well, at least I can now watch NCIS without headphones and the volume on half way. Before I would have it all the way up and sometimes still need headphones.

The app has a warning to be CAREFUL not to blow your speakers. I'm kinda afraid to get this since my speakers work so good now. I know the TF is definitely no boombox but I'd hate to try to make it one and then mess my speakers up. Keep us posted how this app performs over the long haul. However, If Mickeylittle endorses it maybe I'd better get it!!

@mrumm49 Well this is great to keep whenever you watch a video and the volume on the video is low or ayoutube video or any show online and the video has a low audio output this is just amazing for that its great to keep installed and enable it when you need.

Don't blame me if you go deaf or something listening to your Transformer! No I agree that you could probably blow your speakers and I've had to lower the volume setting for notifications. But this app rocks! You can adjust the bass, and all kinds of things to give a really nice sound and like I said, I now have more volume on my movies at 50% than I did before at 100%!

Mickeylittle, in a couple more days I will be without my Transformer for a month while my wife is visiting family overseas. I don't want her having an opportunity to mess the transformer up while she's away. (I know, don't let her take it to begin with!) Before I decide on this speaker boosting app do you mean you can adjust this so she won't ever turn it up too loud? I still think I may wait to add more stuff until she gets back.

Dude do not get the app until the Transformer is safely back in your hands! Trust me on this! :-)

Apparently there is more than one speaker app. I grabbed one off Amazon for $1.44 thinking it was the same one (I am having trouble purchasing foreign/non-US based apps on Google I believe because of my AmEx card), but it did not work. Got a refund.

    1. Volume+ by Meltus (App - Apr. 21, 2011)
    Download: $1.44
Available instantly on your connected Android device

Same named app and same company. Apparently an older version that does not work.

I was finally able to update my Google account so I could make a "foreign" purchase. Volume+ automatically downloaded and installed over the old version which I had installed from Amazon (before I could uninstall). I ended up with a partially working app with the old version interface. I then uninstalled the whole mess and re-downloaded and installed. Now all is good. It is a very useful app that works well. Thanks for finding it!
