    Rooting

Anyone rooted their TF? What advantages are there? Is it really worth the hassle?

The only reason I would root is to be able to backup my app data - I can't, for the life of me, figure out why this isn't something that's built-in. Losing data when performing a factory reset is not cool.

Other people root for other reasons: to overclock, to modify their device in some way, to put a system-wide adblock in place, to take screenshots (non Transformer devices), etc.

If you have no need for those, don't root.
