Very unhappy with my Eee. CAN'T PLAY VIDEOS!

I tried every video app nothing is working.

I can't play any of the videos that play on my phone.

Honeycomb sucks compared to gingerbread and froyo. It freezes all the time, it lags, and it is so much slower.

I don't understand why my phone which has less hardware does way more than this tablet.

    Any help out there?

    How can I play videos?

does the keyboard dock really make it much better because right now i'm not impressed?

I had to re-rip my videos to a better quality and for the most part Mobo Player and Rock Player are doing the best for me. I admit that I watched a movie last night that had some jerky effects from time to time and I'm not used to that coming from an iPad and an iPad 2 as they played video flawlessly. But I'm trying to figure out if I may have ripped the movie at too high a quality.

Basically believe there is a workable solution for this issue. We just have to know how to rip the movies that we want to watch. Maybe an update will come out to fix this who knows.

I am not techy at all so please bear with me. My movies are on my desktop in the VLC format. It uses a safety cone looking icon. I first just put them on my micro card into the transformer and they did not work. So I snooped online and found Freemake Video Converter. Using this I was able to convert my files on my desktop to Android format. Put these new converted files back on my micro card and back into the Transformer and YES they all work. Doesn't matter which player option I use either: Videoplayer, MVideo player, or Moboplayer. Those are the 3 on my transformer.

thats great will try that tonight thanks for the info. I guess the problem lies with the format. Transformers did not do well with mkv. there is new player come out call as little player which mkv was on its list, will try that also

I don't get it. I have mostly avi files and they play on mobo, vplayer, and vitalplayer. I have podcasts that are mp4 and m4v that play on them fine too. Never converted or anything.

mobo is a good one for play videos, but it actually can not play many videos, it is not about the mobo, but the eee itself

here are 2 pics that you can see what videos can eee play!

    I'D give some clues,
    自带播放器:Player builtin EEEpad
    不支持: not support
    播放流畅:Perfect
and the rest you can guess
