    USB to PC

To access the files on my TF101 on my PC can I simply connect the two together with a USB2 lead?
    Advice would be appreciated.

You'll need the Asus suite software on your PC.

Just use the charger cable to connect.

    Hi Gerry,

Love Weymouth. Love Dorset. Visit every year with our caravan

As Mike says, yes you can access files that way, but we get any amount of folks here who find they just can't get it to work & never do track it down. Others don't have any trouble at all.

Personally, I think you would be better advised to turn on file sharing on your PC & then use ES File Manager (free on the Play Store) to transfer files wirelessly between the TF & the PC (both connected to your wifi network) - you can send files either way & once you have file sharing on, it saves all the hassle of connecting the cable up. and you don't need to download and install Asus Sync (which can be another source of issues!)

Another idea to consider, in any case.

Thanks Mike and Jan, greatly appreciate your input.
Will try the wireless route first.
Yes, Weymouth is the place to be in the summer, especially in 2012. Bit quiet now though!
    Regards,
    Gerry.
