How to change settings to always desktop!
In the last few weeks I seem to be getting thrown to the mobile sites more and more almost 100% now in Facebook and even the drop down menue for desktop button does not always work
Any suggestions as to permanent settings request around this
Problem is in stock browser on TF 101 in Australia
Than you :-)

I presume you are using ics stock browser in update .24, then in browser settings go to advanced and choose request desktop tick box halfway down the screen
That will set desktop mode for evey request

I have no idea which version and I cannot find any sub menu of 'browser' within the settings list that I have
Where can I click to download latest to help me with this
Thank you

If you can find 'settings' for your browser, click on the 'advanced' tab and you should see the option to 'always request desktop site', you need to select this option. I use the overlay controls for my browser and 'settings' shows up in there, if you aren't using that you should be able to find 'settings' in the top right core of your browser screen. Hope that helps ;^)

Now this is the concern
Within my settings I can find:
Wi-Fi
Device
Personal
System
Nowhere can I see browser settings within any menu or sub menu here ...
I can 'ask for desktop' after a page has loaded but not as a general rule.
ATM the tablet is throwing me always to mobile on FB and BBC.com after 6 months
of basically hassle free connecting ... what I do not understand of course is why now
and where is this 'browser' setting link within my tablet ...
Thank you all concerned for your assistance here :-)

Opera Mobile
ICS+

Thank you ... Thank you
Thank you
This is what I needed to see, from a Wiganer exiled for the last 20 years here in Sunny Australia
And thank you all again for your help - the world has righted itself!
