Cool How to purchase 1 app and it apply to multiple Transformer devices ?

So I am a school teacher. I am currently writing a grant to purchase 9 ASUS tablets. I need to factor in cost for some applications I have found. Most co-teachers have purchased i-Pads. I am an Android fan. I do know that on the iPads you can purchase an application and connect it to up to 5 ipads. Is it possible to connect multiple ASUS Tablets to one account? Thanks bunches! Teacher in need of assistance and help!

    Welcome to the forum

As far as I can tell I'm not certain there is a limit. Every Android device using the same Google credentials should be able to use the same apps.

Just make sure they are all using the same gmail account for the market and you will be good.

All of my Playstore apps carry over to my phone and my Nexus 7. I've never had to buy one again. - sheureka

The Play Store does keep track of every App you buy and should be available to any new device you add to your Google Account with no additional charges.

I have to congratulate you on going against the grain and buying something else rather than the standard Ipad. I think most people don't do enough research. They think, because everyone uses/buy and Ipad, they should too. You hear about sports team buying hundreds of Ipad for their players to use instead of playbooks. Cool. But what if you wanted to project the image onto a big HDTV so everyone else can see. Can you hook up an HDMI cable to an Ipad? No.

Get a mini HDMI cable, hook up to your Asus to your HDTV and voila, there it, sight and sound in HD quality. How great is that?

No additional charges....if that's the way the developer licenses it. The play store doesn't seem to enforce it, but some app developers do expect you to pay for each device where the app is installed.

I have an Infinity TF700 and as soon as I booted it up and completed the initial setup, it immediately started downloading all the apps I have downloaded on my RAZR MAXX. Same thing happened to my RAZR MAXX after upgrading from Droid X. I have never had trouble switching between devices using Android Market/Play Store. As long as each device uses same account for Play Store you shouldn't have any problems. Hope this helps. Good choice sticking with Android.
