Reply With QuoteI often have the same issue - particulary with my web based email and attachements. They are there and I can see them, but I cant open or download them... The work aroubd for me is that my webbased email has a drop box sevice and I can choose to have the file placed there, and then for some unknown reason, I can grab it. Makes no damn sense, but its how I do it.

"download unsuccessful"
When I try and download a file via the browser (I mostly DL pdfs) , about 95% of the time, it says 'download unsuccessful' . And it seems to be getting worse. About 50% of the time I need to retry 5-6 times. The internet connection is fast and solid. Very frustrating. Is this a common problem? I was hoping to be able to wait and see if ICS fixed it but it's getting super restrictive. Anything I am missing or can do?

Try the Opera browser. It gives me 100% success with downloads from sites & webmail attachments.

janner - I gave Opera a try and 100% download success! I dont lik it for much of anything else and I am going to do some tests with boat browser downloading, but for the immediate need, Opera worked like a charm! Originally Posted by janner43

On Facebook too
I have this problem on Safari and also on Facebook.. when i try to download .doc or .pdf files, the download appears but shows as unsuccessful
I bought the tablet 2 months back and only now (or should I say - already now) the problem shows up. It's quite frustrating
