Updating ROMS on TF101 running ICS
Hi. I have had a good read around the forum. There is some great stuff here. I am hoping someone can offer me a little help.
I am trying to update ROM (to either 5.1 or 6.0) onto a base TF101 currently running ICS. The original system appeared not to have any stock recovery (system just errored when recovery selected) so after some reading I have rooted with kingroot and flashed CWM 6.0.1.3. I used rashr to point to the CWM downloaded img.
However when I try to flash from SD card, I get cannot sdcard mount error. This seems very common issue.
I have tried formatting various a couple of SC cards in various formats but cannot be read.
So my next plan was to flash TWRP however I cannot find an app to do this.
flashify - no good - crashes
twrp manager - no good. points to url for image download but the offers no option to navigate to it
Goomanager seems to exist no more.
I don't have access to a windows box to run easyflasher or fastboot and run ABD mode.
Does anyone know of another app that may work to get twrp on or simply flash ROMs?
Thanks.
