    Custom ROM format

Hey guys, yesterday i rooted my TF...i didn't much things until now, but now i've been able to install a UMTS USB Modem and connecting to ad-hoc wireless...so i'm quite exited now and glad to had rooted it...

...but, let's talk about a problem i found while rooting my device.

I downloaded NVFlash (great tool, mates, whoever made it...i really really love them!)...

...downloaded Prime 1.6 from the XDA Forum ( [ROM] PRIME! v1.6 | HC31 | Fast | Rooted | Deodexed | HMJ37.prime_epad-1.6-20110716 - xda-developers ) and followed the video tutorial on youtube ( ‪How To Unbrick, Root, Rom using NVFlash on the ASUS Transformer by Albert Wertz of Tabletroms.com‬‏ - YouTube Many thanks to this guy too!!!)

The problem is that the Prime 1.6 zip file doesn't contain the .img files...but a Meta-inf and a system directory...

...so i went looking for a Prime zip that can help me out and i found a 1.5 zip with the img files...

...but now i'm asking myself :

"What is the differencies between the 2 zip format?"
"There is a way to upgrade my TF to 1.6 using the first zip i downloaded?"
"Can anyone explain me what are the 3 img files that nvflash needs?"

Thx anyway to whoever will try to help me out...until then i'll stay with my Prime 1.5 thanking forever who create this ROM, the nvflash and the youtube tutorial!!!

Hi Friend, you may copy the PRIME_TF101_v1.6 to your SDCard and then press the power button until it showing SHUTDOWN, RECOVERY & CANCEL.
you choose the RECOVERY until it will reboot, use power button as ENTER, vol + as UP vol - as DOWN to choose 'install zip from sdcard' >> 'choose zip from sdcard' >> 'PRIME_TF101_v1.6.zip' >> 'YES - insatllPRIME_TF101_v1.6.zip' until it done, then GO BACK 2 times & 'reboot system now'
Finally already upgrade to Prime 1.6 ^^

    Enjoy

Stupid me! I should have thought about the new recovery option on the power button!

Thanks mate! I'll try once back from work!

I'm just discovering that the Android community is growing and evolving quite well and fast...hoping that one day i can contribute to its growth...

...and hoping that Google will invest on this product!!!
